dearest someday...

I don't know when it happened.. when I put you in my back pocket as the 'catch all' for my dreams and goals. The place where I stored all of those projects and lists with things to do and try. Oh yes, my dearest someday ..you have hid from me long enough ...my someday is now.

I will share my dreams, and my goals.. my pictures and stories. Most importantly.. I will do. I don't know quite yet what project or goals or whatevers might come up first.. I do know that now more than ever.. it is time to take you out of my back pocket and bring you to life.

Jen Higgins - If you get a chance, Vancouver Island is simply beautiful,as is the ferry ride over there! Victoria is the capital of B.C. and a fun place too. http://www.hellobc.com/victoria.aspx

Science world, and the aquarium, and Capilano suspension bridge are all pretty cool to see, as well at Stanley Park and the Sea wall! Amanda - Sounds like SO much fun! We made this trek as a family when I was about 11. I remember there being a TON of go-kart tracks, randomly placee in what seemed like the middle of nowhere along our way.. and Dad stopped at EVERY one for us to go for a ride! .. as long as we spotted one, he would stop. I’m sure there were 3 or 4 along the way. That’s what I remember most about us being on the road during the drive to Vancouver. I’m sure you’ll find lots of things to do. Lucy - OMG!! so exciting. Me & Ty are doing our BC road trip this summer as well!

I would verrryyyy much recommend waiting a month and going in june/july!! There will be 10X more to do. Especially in the Okanagan. Shuswaps lake is absolutely amazing! Fruit picking with the kids, swimming in the perfect blue water. Natural hot springs.

ohhh. i can not wait!! our final destination is Tofino, going to catch some swell on the Pacific.

PS. Kelowna is wayyyy prettier than Kamloops, so if you have to choose between the two. Go kelowna! Go to muscle beach, sounds lame but i’ve heard its so beautiful.

So, to recap.
1) WAIT A MONTH!!!
2) Go To Shuswaps
3) Pick Fruit in Kelowna.

Cate - Hells Gate on highway 1 just past Hope (away from Vancouver) is really pretty. There’s a suspension bridge and an aerial tram. Vancouver Island is always pretty, but I’m a little biased since I’ve lived here since I was a kid. :) And Banff is one of my favourite places in the world (along with Tofino and Saltspring Island). rhonda - There is SO Much to see down south!!! Jasper and Banff are both lovely, Vancouver is great too!!! Frank’s slide is pretty cool – a whole town covered by an avalanche of rocks years ago. Lots of place to climb and hide (my boys love it). It’s in the Crowsnest Pass – not sure if you’ll go that way or not.April 30, 2012 – 8:25 pm
