hmmm.. remember me?

Hello friends!

I figured it was about time to get my sh!t together and get on here and write a blog post.  Um yeah.. it has been over a month.  I am realizing that I have to get better at multi-tasking!  ..cause I have so so so missed my blog.  Blogging is one of my very most favourite things to do after all!  

So, I am not going to bore you with a month long summary of what has been going on around here.  Instead, here are some random thoughts that have popped into my head this morning..

I will bore you with all the other stuff later! ha ha! ;)

1. I made myself some business cards and did some other branding.. that I can not wait to share here, which will be soon… but I needed to ease back into blogging with a fun little post like this first! ha ha!

2. I am not sure if I can embrace the neon trend that is emerging.. makes me think of grade 5 and wearing a neon pink track suit type thing.. and side ponytails.. and elbow high friendship bracelets.. and and and… yeah, I don’t think this neon trend does anything for me.

3. L – U – V.. MADONNA!  Why is this song so catchy.  Y – O – U…  YOU WANNA!? ha ha ha!  ..come on! ha  ..you know you have the song in your head now too right!?  Good grief.  Am I reminiscing over my youth today or what?  I personally like her True Blue or Papa Don’t Preach days more then what what she is putting out there now.. call me sentimental. hee!  This song should sooo not be stuck in my head like it is. 

4. Neon talk and Madonna talk.. what is wrong with me?

5. LOVING feathers still.. this is a trend that will never die for me.  Yes, I might have thought that about neon back in the day too.. but I really really mean it!  So, when I saw this feather pillow (left) and the danish brand Louise Roe featured on emmas designblogg.. yes, I knew I had to share it here ..love it.

6. Do you like the feather on the right?  I used that graphic in my branding and on my business cards.. which I still can not wait to share!! ;)

7. The store Propeller & Co. that I have been working on decor projects for.. as well as the branding (oh my gosh!!) is almost ready to open!  So excited to share all of the  details with you!  ..and her business cards as well, love how they turned out!

8. I am excited for spring.. but I kind of don’t want winter to end.  I don’t want to put my mukluks away. hee!

9. So much going on, including James being out town working for the past 5-ish weeks.. Laine getting a concussion at skating last week, and Harley down with a major cold/flu thing.. all of it, all at once!  I have a feeling that everything is going to return to ‘normal’ soon and I won’t know what to do with myself! ha ha!

10. When faced with making the decision to either sit down and do a blog post.. or dust my house (which it needs.. really really bad) ..I chose blog… is that bad?  I didn’t think so! ;)

11. I still only have the two dining room chairs.. I kind of abandoned the process of figuring that out… oops!  I have to admit though, the mismatched look is kind of growing on me. ;)

12. Off to the couch to give my sick boy some cuddles.. and maybe see if he is finally hungry and ready for some lunch. :)
