I got the wreaths hung! I have to admit, they almost didn’t make it up. In my head, they had to go outside.. but I already have a wreath on the front door… sooooo, I was going to put them on either side of the garage doors, but I would have to find some sort of siding safe hook.. and the thought of going store to store to do that sounded downright exhausting.
The exhausting part came after I had already pulled them out and removed the bright pom poms from the candy coloured pom pom wreaths.. leaving the ones that worked with the new look. After all, re-use where you can right!? These wreaths have been re-used so many ways now.. I love it! So yes, I had removed the pink/red pom poms and then it was at that point that I decided going to look for these magical siding hooks just was not going to happen.
What now!?
I walked around the house with them.. almost hung them in the windows at the back of the house.. but settled on these closet doors instead! The hallway needed a little Christmas cheer! I just used the cut fabric strips that were already on them and tacked them into the top of the door! Easy!

Then I had this thought that maybe this was the most bizarre idea ever.. so I did a little search on Pinterest for some inspiration… or back up (whichever)! ha ha! Found so many inspiring ideas! Also found a few images of side by side wreaths on double doors.. so I felt a little better about them being there. Although, the pictures I found were on front doors to houses.. not closet doors, ah well. ;)
Oh how I love Christmas! It has been fun digging through all of our decorations and trying to reuse it all in a new space.. it is like everything is new again! I have a few more things to dig out and then it will all be finished! Yay!
Not sure if I will get to the list of crafty things I want to do, I sure hope so! What would the holiday season be without some wonderful craftiness!?
